How to make homemade effective body scrub |smooth even skin
Beautiful skin does not only mean by the face. You have to take care of your entire body if you want to have clean, lively youthful skin all over. Sometimes I have noticed few girls who have really good skin on their face but as soon as I notice their feet or hand or back it appears to be really dry, flaky and lifeless and trust me it looks very ugly and unhealthy. Thats when you need body scrub.
In order to keep youthful skin you need to scrub your whole body. I know it is very tiring and time taking too but if you love yourself and love to have a smooth skin all over your body, you need to do it. If you feel too lazy you can do it once a week or else I would suggest to do it twice or thrice a week. It increases your blood circulation instantly giving you a youthful glow. And its very important to remove your dead skin layer, clean your clogged pores reducing the chances of acne, ingrown hairs, razor bumps etc.
I recently made my own custom homemade body scrub which worked wonders for me. It removed my sun tan and made my skin very smooth and even toned. The best part is, it is purely made of organic ingredients and doesn’t have any side effects unless you are allergic to any of its ingredients.
So the ingredients are as follows:
- Licorice powder
- Organic honey
- Plain Yogurt
- Sea Salt or Coffee Powder
- Rose Water
- Tea Tree Oil or any other oil of your choice
I take large spoon of liquorice powder in a glass bowl, mix it with other ingredients as stated above according to your requirement and make a paste with little bit of water, then apply it to your whole body including your face. Leave it for 15-20 minutes and then rub it gently, wetting it a bit.
Licorice powder is a natural skin brightener and with yogurt makes a powerful detan mask. Honey is widely used as natural moisturiser which has anti ageing properties. Sea Salt has also a lot of skin benefits including healing properties, moisturising and toning quality. Its also has a strong anti bacterial property. In the other hand, coffee is also an excellent exfoliator, it removes the dead cell revealing silky smooth skin. Rose water is a great cleanser and aids in removing oil and dirt accumulated in clogged pores. And as everybody knows if you are suffering from blemishes, dark spots, pimple outburst etc, tea tree oil is your saviour but you have to use it little bit in diluted form because excess application of tea tree oil makes your skin over dry. That’s why I mix a little amount of water with the paste.
I leave this on my skin for 15-20 minutes, when its dry I wet it again a little bit with water and gently rub this all over. Then wash it off.
If you follow this regime religiously you can see the results from the first application itself. I tested it personally and strongly recommend this to all of you.
