how to style your ethnic wear: women ethnic wear

Hello ladies, hope you all doing well.

This post is really very special to me, because this is for our special that day of the year. No it’s not about valentines day only but the bengali valentines day that is our own Saraswati Pooja or Vasant Panchami. This day is so close to our heart that every bengali people out there has some memories with it.

Since our childhood, we wait for the day so eagerly. This is the day when young people go out, have fun all day, girls of all age wears saree, young boys mostly carries themselves in their traditional avatar. This become more memorable and fun when you see your crush or sweet heart for the first time in saree or any ethnic wear. Many love stories start from this day.

With all those sweet memories I am going to show you my little ethnic pick for the day. This salwar suit is not from any high street brands, this is tailor made. Last to last year I went to Manali for a trip, there I found some of these beautiful pieces of fabric and I picked up some of those. I resisted myself so badly from buying the whole shop. Those are so pretty and irresistible that anybody can fell in love with. The colours, the thread work, the embroidery designs everything is so beautiful.

Such as this super cute pink Kashmiri work. I did not design it as a normal salwar suit pattern. I made sure it look different. That’s why I styled the bottom as ankle length trouser and made the suit bit differently with high neck line and long front slit to give it a coat look overall.

For the comfort I gave few front buttons which can be kept open if needed, with that their is a small chain by the side which will make it more easier to wear and will lessen the ripping factor.

There is still a bit chilled weather in Bengal right now, so you will be absolutely comfortable wearing the full sleeve.

I paired it up with a high heel and due to this heavy embroidery work I chose for minimal accessory with it. A golden big stud that’s it. It gave the look such a modern yet so ethnic touch to it.

You will definitely going to look a bit different from all for sure. Even the makeup was absolutely fresh and young.
